Support Services for Children, Young People and Their Families

Within the Maniototo, an interagency partnership between government and non-government agencies exists to provide support services for at risk children, young people and their families/whānau.

The partnership is called Strengthening Families.  The parnership includes the schools, the health service (community/wellchild), Maniototo Hospital REAP, Child, Youth and Family, Police Youth Aid, Internal Affairs, Work & Income, Buddy Programme, Victim Support, St Johns, PSSS, and churches.
