Support Services for Children, Young People and their Families
In the Tararua region, an interagency partnership between government and non-government agencies exits to provide support services for at risk children, young people and their families/whānau.
This partnership includes almost all family based community organisations, schools, non-government organisations and the following Government departments; Child, Youth and Family Services, Department of Internal Affairs, IRD, Ministry of Education - Group Special Education, NZ Police, Work and Income.
