Meeting rooms

The Resource Centre is also able to offer, on an appointment basis, the use of two private interview rooms and a small meeting room (10 -12 people).

Support Services for Children, Young People and Their Families

In Waimate, an interagency partnership between government and non-government agencies exists to provide support services for all risk children, young people and their families/whānau.

The partnership is called Strengthening Families. The partnership includes the schools, the health service (community and mental health), Special Education Group of Ministry of Education, Kāinga Ora (used to be Housing New Zealand), Oranga Tamariki, Te Rūnaka O Arowhenua, Police, Inland Revenue Child Support, ACC, Work and Income, Community Probation Services, District Councils, Presbyterian Support Services and Te Puni Kōkiri Services.
